OPR Q&A: Enteractive CEO Mikael Hansson On How To Reactivate Online Gamblers
Online gamblers show many of the same habits as other mobile device users. When typical users download an app, there’s a 25% chance they’ll only use it once, then ignore it. For online casinos, it’s important to find ways to win such users back. That’s what Malta-based Enteractive works with online gambling operators to do. […]
It’s Far Too Early To Write Off DraftKings As A Leading Online Gambling Operator
DraftKings stock dropped nearly 22% on Friday, after the company’s Q4 2021 earnings call. Investors weren’t happy that the company’s leadership intends to continue spending heavily on marketing and promotion while the business has yet to achieve profitability. Chatter began immediately on social media about which online gambling operator will replace DraftKings at the top […]

BetMGM CEO Greenblatt Says Online Gambling Operators Need To Rein In Promotional Spending
As young as the US online gambling market it, analysts are already asking BetMGM when operators will cut back on spending. Online gambling isn’t only a game for the rich. A broad range of income demographics are represented in online sportsbooks and casinos, but the split between wealthy and impoverished players isn’t always even. Studies both in the US and the UK support this. In the UK, the poor play online games and slots just as […]

Evolution Gaming is among the largest B2B online gambling companies in the world, and has an effective monopoly on live dealer gaming in the US – for now. One-Time ‘Bro’ Gary Vee’s All Grown Up, But Can DraftKings Marketing Keep Up?
DraftKings is getting the best version of Gary Vee. I’ve been around Gary Vaynerchuk, more commonly known as Gary Vee, since he was shilling wine. Then he became a marketing thought leader and in-demand keynoter. Finally, he became a cultural phenomenon. This is where DraftKings, daily fantasy giant turned sports betting and casino operator, picks […]
