Who Regulates the Alberta Market
Two bodies share oversight:
- Alberta iGaming Corporation is the new entity that runs the regulated market and operates the platform side of the launch.
- Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis (AGLC) sets and enforces the rules, handles operator and supplier registration, sets compliance standards and runs the centralized self-exclusion system. Every operator you can legally play at has completed registration and paid the required fees, so if a site is licensed in Alberta, it has cleared that bar.
