April’s second week begins with welcome news for Ontario online casino fans: theScore Casino, a standalone online casino app, is now live. Today, just days after Ontario marked the third anniversary of its open gambling market, Penn Entertainment announced the launch of its casino-only online app.
According to the release, the app’s dedicated online casino offering—which leverages Penn’s popular theScore brand—gives players a “seamless” cross-platform experience.
Aaron LaBerge, Penn’s chief technology officer and head of interactive, said the new app will give players an “even better” experience.

The new release is available now via Android, iOS, and desktop.
Existing customers can simply log in using their theScore Bet credentials for a streamlined experience across Penn’s Ontario online gaming platforms.
theScore Casino builds on Hollywood Casino’s success
Also available within the combined theScore Bet app, theScore Casino offers a range of slots, table games and live dealer content.
Penn highlights that theScore Casino operates on the same “cutting-edge proprietary technology platform” as its US-facing standalone online casino app, Hollywood Casino. Launched last December, Eilers & Krejcik recently ranked Hollywood Casino as the #2 overall online casino platform in the United States.
