Adam’s entry into content started with a self-published bingo review site back in 2018. After exiting the following year, he focused on working with established brands; his work appears on Bonus.com, PlayUSA, and Legal Sports Report.
Outside of iGaming, Adam found the time in 2020 to co-found Adventure Pending. Although the project was sunset in 2024, the site accrued 8M+ impressions and 250K+ users.
When he's not sitting behind his desk, Adam can often be found up a local fell (see: mountain in North England) with his border collie, Fergus. That, or he’ll be refuelling from the last adventure in the local pub.
I’m a contributor at Bonus.com, where I focus on turning online casino, sportsbook, and sweepstakes offers into clear, straightforward explanations. Most of my time goes into reviewing bonus terms, comparing promotions across different markets, and making sure readers understand exactly what they’re signing up for — not just the headline deal, but the small print that determines its real value.
I’ve worked in iGaming for more than seven years, covering the UK, US, and Canadian markets. My experience includes online casino newswriting, detailed operator reviews, and practical guides designed to answer the questions players are actually asking. I got my start in 2018 when I launched and later sold my own bingo review site, which gave me hands-on experience building and growing gambling content from scratch. Since then, my work has appeared on established brands including Bonus.com, PlayUSA, and Legal Sports Report.
I hold a Master of Engineering degree from the University of Sheffield, and I bring that analytical approach to every piece I write: break complex systems down, cut through jargon, and focus on what truly matters to the reader. I’m based in the North of England, and when I’m not reviewing bonus terms, you’ll usually find me hiking the fells with my border collie, Fergus — or relaxing in a local pub after a long walk.

I planned to travel the world in 2018 and needed a remote role to fund my dreams. I leveraged my knowledge of online casinos to grow my freelance writing career. I’ve since written iGaming content in 20+ countries for some of the biggest names in the game.
Not reading the terms and conditions! The information you need is all in the small print. There’s often one or two lines that can trip you up – make a habit of checking the terms before claiming a bonus.
A “good” bonus is one that offers genuine value to players. Anything offered without wagering requirements feels like a genuine bonus – whether that’s free spins, deposit matches, or just about anything else.
Use the responsible gaming tools when you sign up. Check out the player safety tools and set yourself limits on how much you can deposit/wager in a day/week/month.
Wagering and playthrough requirements are some of the most frustrating terms. They’re enforced on most bonuses, so it’s a good idea to familiarize yourself!
