A year after its 50th anniversary Dungeons & Dragons will enter the iGaming realm, with Games Global and Hasbro partnering for a new release later this quarter called “Dungeons & Dragons Tales of Riches.”

The partnership, pairing Hasbro’s Wizards of the Coast division with the Isle of Man-based gaming company, involves a Neon Valley Studios-created game that takes inspiration from the rich fantasy world in which wizards, thieves, fighters and clerics band together for adventures, battling a menagerie of real and imagined creatures in search of gold and magical items.

Andy Booth, Chief Product Officer at Games Global, commented on the partnership in a press release.

The Hasbro brand is global and transcends the toy and game industry, so it goes without saying that Games Global is incredibly proud to announce this multi-content partnership.

“Players can look forward to themed games that incorporate some of the world’s most iconic brands, and these titles will undoubtedly prove successful for our valued operator partners. The first of many exciting releases in this collaboration, the Dungeons & Dragons slot will combine Hasbro’s world-building legacy with Games Global’s expertise, promising to deliver a game that engages, entertains, and transports players to new realms of fantasy.”

Following the 50th anniversary of Dungeons & Dragons, multiple generations of role-playing game fans have been made nostalgic for the 20-sided dice and hefty resource books that were hallmarks of the game. Now that nostalgia will be passed on with an online casino title.

Games Global tied to many online casino states

While Games Global wasn’t specific about the scope of its rollout, the well-established online gaming provider is active in four states where iGaming is legal — Connecticut, Michigan, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

The company is promising additional Dungeons & Dragons-themed titles once the initial game launches, though it did not provide a specific time frame.

Last month, Games Global announced a new partnership with AI and data science company Future Anthem to help drive engagement via its Audience Identifier module, which features a jackpot tool that will continually monitor pot sizes in real time, and based on that, sends tailored marketing communications to players. Those are tied to popular Games Global titles including Book of Atem (by All41), Gold Blitz (by Fortune Factory), Immortal Romance (by Games Global), and Queen of Alexandria (by WOWPOT).

Games Global has developed of the largest networks of exclusive iGaming content studios, with 40 in-house partner studios coming together to create more than 1,300 proprietary games over the past 20 years. Those include slot games, table games, video poker, video bingo, progressive jackpots, game show games, crash games and live casino games.
