PointsBet Michigan is out, and Fanatics Sportsbook and Casino is in. As promised earlier this week, the switch happened on Thursday when Fanatics Betting and Gaming (FBG) transitioned PointsBet Michigan customers to its Fanatics-branded betting platform.

The move is the next step in FBG’s PointsBet to Fanatics migration after the latter acquired PointsBet’s US business for $225 million last year.

Michigan is Fanatics’ thirteenth sportsbook state and the third for Fanatics Casino. However, in some active states, like Michigan, Fanatics customers play on Fanatics’ in-house platform. In others, customers still use the PointsBet app, rebranded to PointsBet, a Fanatics Experience.

Fanatics Casino Adds New Features

According to the release announcing the switch, folks in Michigan just need to download the Fanatics app for iOS and Android to their preferred devices.

From there, new customers will go through a typical online casino or sports book signup process. However, for previous PointsBet customers, Fanatics promises a seamless transition.

Today in Michigan only, each PointsBet customer’s username, password, account balance, rewards points, and responsible gaming settings will be automatically migrated to the Fanatics Sportsbook.

Notably, as part of the Michigan launch, Fanatics Casino is getting an update, too.

Newly designed, Fanatics says its casino features a range of popular and classic games, including roulette, slots, and blackjack, alongside many new features.

New features at Fanatics Casino include:

  • IGT Play Digital content, including Cash Eruption, Fortune Coin, Cleopatra, MegaJackpots titles, proprietary table games, and video poker content.
  • Evolution’s Live casino games, including Blackjack, Roulette, Craps, Baccarat, and Poker variants. Evolution will also provide online slots and the award-winning Lightning Roulette, with more games to follow.
  • Titles from Light & Wonder,  including 88 Fortunes, Jin Ji Bao Endless Treasures, Dancing Drums Explosion, and Ultime Fire Link China Street. L&W will also offer access to aggregated content from studios, including Big Time Gaming, Reel Play, Gaming Realms, and Hacksaw.
  • Exclusive content from Fanatics Game Studios. First up: Fanatics Blackjack, a new game developed with Boom Entertainment. More games will follow.
  • Fan Cash Rewards: Casino customers can earn FanCash on bets, spins, and hands and convert it to bonus bets on Fanatics Sportsbook or Fanatics team merchandise.

Responsible Play a ‘Core Tenet’

Calling responsible gaming a “core tenet and a part of the organization’s DNA,” Fanatics Sportsbook and Fanatics Casino offer users the tools necessary to set limits on play.

The company also boasts the twenty-four-hour availability of its “best-in-class” help center, online chat, and knowledgeable customer service agents.
