Bonus TL;DR

  • Two major software and infrastructure providers have joined forces to offer gambling operators a streamlined path into the prediction market sector.
  • This collaboration combines ready-to-use regulatory compliance frameworks with advanced marketing tools, allowing established brands to deploy branded trading platforms rapidly.

Optimove has partnered with Plaee to give its operator customers a turnkey route into prediction markets, using Plaee’s white-label infrastructure and regulated event-contract access.

The deal matters because it lowers the barrier for operators that want to enter the category without building their own exchange technology from scratch. According to Plaee, its platform includes the trading interface, back-office systems, liquidity access and regulatory approvals, while Optimove will continue handling the customer intelligence layer.

Deal combines launch infrastructure with CRM and retention tools

Under the agreement, Optimove customers will be able to launch fully branded prediction market offerings on Plaee’s platform. Plaee said its infrastructure provides access to CFTC-regulated event contracts through Crypto.com Derivatives North America, which it described as a CFTC-designated contract market.

Optimove’s role remains focused on marketing and retention after launch. The company said it will use behavioral data to personalize onboarding, target promotions and build retention journeys for operators entering the vertical.

Meryl Serouya, Optimove’s senior director of global partnerships, said operators have shown interest in prediction markets but want to enter the segment in a way that matches regulatory demands.

“In conversations with iGaming operators and industry leaders, we keep hearing the same thing: they see real opportunity in prediction markets, but they want to enter the category the right way – with the patience and scrutiny regulation demands,” Serouya said.

She added that building an exchange historically meant about 18 months of setup before launch.

Plaee says operators could launch in weeks

Plaee CEO and founder Leon Okun said the partnership is aimed at established operators that already have a brand and customer base but do not want to build prediction markets infrastructure themselves.

“Optimove’s operators are exactly the audience Plaee is built for,” Okun said. “These are smart operators with an established brand and an existing customer base who want to add prediction markets without starting from zero.”

Okun said combining Plaee’s platform with Optimove’s marketing stack could allow operators to add prediction markets “in a matter of weeks,” with acquisition and retention tools ready “on day 1.”

The announcement did not identify which Optimove customers may launch through Plaee first, and it did not say whether any operator rollout is already live. It also did not specify jurisdictions beyond the U.S.-linked CFTC-regulated access described in the partnership announcement.

For operators watching the space, the next key detail will be whether named brands begin launching on the platform and how broadly the offering expands beyond the initial regulated infrastructure now cited by the companies.
