Casino Stream, a new livestream broadcast from PlayStar Casino and SGG Media, has debuted on Twitch, featuring a trio of NJ’s “hottest casino hosts.”
The new online casino show, which launched on Feb. 28, is only the second fully licensed gambling stream to reappear on Twitch since it banned gambling on unlicensed US sites. It follows Live Drive, a legal sports gambling livestream SGG launched in partnership with Fliff and first broadcast on Oct. 1, 2023.
The ground-breaking Twitch casino show will broadcast PlayStar Casino gameplay three times a week—Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 8 pm EST. Viewers will also be able to tune into the live broadcasts on YouTube.
In a release announcing the show, SGG’s chief executive officer, Troy Paul, highlighted the livestream’s regulatory compliance.
Our Casino Stream show is focused on being completely compliant with all state gambling laws. PlayStar is a licensed New Jersey Casino, and we will only allow verified adult gamblers located in New Jersey to play. Our streaming show hosts bring the thrill of live bets and viewing big wins to our huge online audience.
Based in Denmark, SGG has built relationships with brands like DraftKings, Fanatics, FanDuel, and PlayStar. With 2000 sports creators rostered, SGG says its content has the potential to reach over 60 million followers.
New Jersey Streamers Grab the PlayStar Spotlight
Fully PlayStar-branded, Casino Stream features New Jersey-based live streamers AcePoker444, NJBettingGuru, and Vookum on the weekly live-action casino show.
According to the show’s Twitch page, viewers can catch Ace playing in real-time every Monday night. Vookum takes over on Wednesdays, while Guru hops in the driver’s seat each Friday. Hosts have a budget each night to fund their play during the livestreams.
PlayStar’s chief marketing officer, Jon Bowden, shared the online casino’s enthusiasm in a statement.
PlayStar Casino is excited to partner with SGG Media in allowing New Jersey casino enthusiasts to watch and play our online slots and games. We provide the excitement of live, legal, casino games to be played online by New Jersey residents while a large viewership can view the action in real-time.
PlayStar online casino launched in New Jersey in 2022 thanks to a partnership with Ocean Resort Casino. The online casino boasts hundreds of titles from top game developers, including NetEnt and International Game Technology (IGT).
For New Jersey-based viewers, tuning in to the thrice-weekly broadcasts has an added benefit: the chance to win cash prizes.
According to PlayStar’s New Jersey site, all local viewers must do to win is tune into the live streams.
Then, when prompted, viewers over 21 drop their username in the chat. At the end of the stream, five lucky New Jersey players will win $100.
Building social experiences around online gambling through streaming was a hot topic at last week’s iGaming NEXT conference in New York. Evolution’s recent acquisition of LiveSpins was another move in a similar direction.
