Bonus TL;DR

  • Stork launched “Stork Market Data,” a new data suite for institutional trading firms that provides live and historical tick- and user-level data from prediction markets, including Kalshi.
  • The offering targets professional traders using sophisticated strategies like cross-venue arbitrage and signal research, reflecting a growing shift toward institutional participation in prediction markets.

Stork has launched Stork Market Data, a new data suite for institutional trading firms that includes live and historical Kalshi data through a new distribution agreement announced Monday.

The launch adds another piece of infrastructure around U.S.-linked prediction markets, with Stork positioning the product for firms that want deeper market data for trading and research. According to the company, the suite includes tick- and user-level data from prediction markets and perpetual futures markets.

Kalshi data is part of the new offering

Stork said the product is aimed at institutional use cases including signal research, market making, cross-venue arbitrage, and positioning and flow analysis. The company said historical Kalshi data in the service goes back to July 2025, while historical data from other prediction markets extends back to November 2022.

The new agreement builds on a partnership between Stork and Kalshi that began in 2025. Stork also said its price feeds have secured more than $4.5 trillion in trading volume and have a four-year uptime track record.

In a statement, Stork Labs CEO and founder Meredith Pitkoff said, “Trading firms are entering 24/7 markets with increasingly sophisticated strategies, requiring a higher standard of data coverage and reliability.” Pitkoff added that meeting that demand is “a natural extension of Stork’s existing business.”

Launch highlights growing institutional focus in prediction markets

The announcement is notable because it targets professional trading firms rather than retail users. That makes it a market-structure story for prediction markets, especially as firms look for live and historical data that can support hedging, research, and execution strategies.

Andy Ross, Kalshi’s head of institutional, said in a statement that “growing institutional participation defines the current stage of growth in prediction markets.” He added that Kalshi and providers such as Stork are helping firms “develop insights and hedge risk.”

What is not yet clear from the announcement is the specific commercial terms of the data distribution agreement or which institutional clients will use the service first. Stork also did not specify which other prediction markets are included in the broader data suite.

For now, the key takeaway is that Kalshi data is being packaged into a new institutional product at a time when prediction-market infrastructure is expanding beyond consumer-facing trading platforms.
