International Game Technology (IGT) is taking its exclusive Wheel of Fortune (WoF) deal in new directions, starting with a glitzy Global Gaming Expo (G2E) debut. IGT plans to unveil a range of “dazzling” new Wheel of Fortune-branded games in Vegas this October. In addition to 11 new slot titles, IGT will debut Wheel of Fortune video poker, an electronic table game, and a video lottery terminal at the convention—IGT told Bonus consumers can expect the new games to debut in their favorite retail and online casinos throughout 2025.
As IGT’s G2E centerpiece, the “Wheel of Fortune Zone” will showcase how the new WoF-themed solutions can create “fun and fervor” across a gaming floor.
Nick Khin, IGT’s president of global gaming, said that by introducing WoF across multiple portfolios, IGT is giving customers opportunities to benefit from the player-favorite brand.
IGT’s G2E 2024 booth will feature a lively Wheel of Fortune-branded zone where we’ll deliver the jackpot excitement and energy that our new Wheel of Fortune games can bring to every corner of their gaming floor.
Sony Deal Gives IGT Wheel of Fortune Exclusivity
IGT’s Wheel of Fortune slots, launched in 1996, are considered one of the most successful slot themes ever. Even before this latest expansion, IGT’s catalog featured over 50 WoF-branded products, including about a dozen online slot titles available in the US.
Since its debut, IGT has paid almost $3.6 billion in jackpots and funded over 1,200 new millionaires. These days, IGT says it creates a new millionaire approximately every two weeks. The most significant single jackpot win has been $14.4 million.
In mid-2023, IGT extended its exclusive licensing agreement with Sony Pictures Television through 2033, so those numbers will only climb. Earlier that year, BetMGM launched Wheel of Fortune Casino in New Jersey. The brand-forward casino is the first in the US dedicated to a particular product line—a testament to the brand’s strength and success.
Most recently, thanks to a deal brokered by Apollo Global Management, IGT and Everi announced plans to unite under one umbrella. As a result, IGT is splitting its business in two, with its gaming division moving to the new company.
The IGT lottery business will spin off separately under a new, unrevealed name.

Wheel of Fortune Video Poker
The game marries IGT’s video poker with the WoF theme to deliver an entertainment-rich game featuring the franchise’s famous puzzle-solving features and iconic “Wheel Bonus.” In triple-play, five-play, and ten-play configurations, the multi-hand poker game can award players 30,000, 50,000, or 100,000 credits (respectively) for a dealt royal flush.
Wheel of Fortune on IGT’s GameAce ETG Solution
With a towering wheel up to 120 inches in diameter, IGT’s Wheel of Fortune ETG will surely draw casino goers’ attention. When a player triggers the game’s “Wheel Bonus” or “Puzzle Board,” the large, multi-pointer wheel spins. The result creates a high-visibility spectacle like a wheel spin on the TV game show.
Wheel of Fortune for VLT
IGT applied its VLT experience to create a highly anticipated version of WoF’s celebrated slots. The VLT game includes the proven math and mechanics behind the slots franchise. Debuting on IGT’s newest terminal, the new cabinet features cutting-edge tech, player-tested ergonomics, and a 27-inch display.
Wheel of Fortune Slots
Eleven new Wheel of Fortune Slots themes will debut at G2E. The most anticipated include Wheel of Fortune Cash Link Big Money and Wheel of Fortune Cash Link Reels Double Diamond.
The former is an attention-grabbing video slot with a large, physical wheel that extends across three banked cabinets. It features a Cash Link Multiplier that can award up to 35X and exciting free games.
The latter is a first-stepper version of the Cash Link titles and includes a $1.125 million progressive jackpot reset. It offers a content-rich experience blending the best of famed slot franchises: Wheel of Fortune, Cash Link, and Double Diamond.
New WoF Games to Debut in 2025
Online casinos: IGT told Bonus that its PlayDigital arm typically introduces new Wheel of Fortune themes throughout the year. Players can count on new WoF titles to continue appearing at their favorite online casino.
Retail Casinos: Casino-goers can expect to see IGT’s new Wheel of Fortune retail products appearing at retail casinos throughout 2025.
Specifically, IGT said it would take orders for Wheel of Fortune Cash Link Big Money and Wheel of Fortune Cash Link Reels at G2E. The company expects Wheel of Fortune Cash Link Big Money to reach casino floors sometime in January.
