Navigating Resorts Online Casino: My Impressions of the Platform
Overall, Resorts Online Casino operates on a simple, non-flashy platform that allows players to quickly access the games or bonuses they want, with nothing too eye-catching or engaging in between. In my testing, I examined both the desktop experience and the mobile app experience in depth.
Desktop Experience
The bottom line is that the Resorts Casino desktop experience is simple, straightforward, and, for lack of a better word, a little bit bland. Now, that’s not necessarily a bad thing, as I find that some online casinos focus too much on making the site sparkle and too little on making it easy to navigate to the games and bonuses, which should be the main stars of the show. Because of Resorts’ simplicity, navigation is quick and easy, and I found loading times to be snappy.
The homepage puts everything important in front of you from the start, featuring a sliding carousel of current promotions, features, and offers, as well as a couple select game categories. Right below those featured game categories, the site goes right into the full game catalog. I liked this, because I had everything I needed right away on one page, and it was the first page I saw.
As you can see above, once I scrolled, I was met with the main game catalog, featuring a top bar of categories, a search feature, and a sorting feature. Players can also choose to have the games laid out in a grid format or a list format, which was a nice touch that I don’t see at all online casinos.
If you’ve read any of my reviews before, you know that I like the main categories to be featured first and prominently, when possible – Slots, Table Games, and Live Dealer. In the case of Resorts Casino, it seemed to be a mash-up of basic game type categories and ad-hoc categories, such as “Featured” and “Spring Slots”. Of course, this is all personal preference, and I can absolutely see how other players may prefer the more thematic and fun categories to take center stage. Under the “More” arrow, I found “Slingo”, “Megaways”, and “All Slots” to be the remaining categories.
I’ll also note here that the sorting feature offered even more customizing ability, allowing you to sort by “Resorts Favorites” and “Top Rated” as well as traditional A-Z sorting.
The Promotions page was exciting in design, but lacking in utility. It had plenty of different banners of plenty of different sizes, which immediately drew my attention, but it wasn’t the easiest to navigate through. Of course, this is just my nitpicking, and I don’t think that, realistically, this design will cause any difficulty in finding promotions you’d like to take advantage of. I will say, however, that further down on the Promotions page, there were a lot of non-promotional tiles featured, such as turning on 2-step login, an ad for the Resorts Play+ Card, a couple of live dealer-focused tiles, and information about promotional and game winners. I personally don’t like when non-promotional content is mixed in with promotional content on a page, as it tends to muddy the water, but I didn’t particularly mind the non-bonus inclusions here as they were relegated to the bottom of the page in smaller-sized tiles.
Beyond those two main pages, there’s honestly not a huge amount to cover due to the site’s simplicity. Other pages, if you need them, are similar in design and navigability, and I only encountered one minor experiential issue during my entire testing of Resorts Casino on desktop (the “All Slots” catalog took quite a while to load).
Mobile App Experience
Other than the visuals, I found the experience to be equally smooth and intuitive, and I did not encounter any issues during my app testing. I did appreciate the fact that all of the games available on desktop appeared to be available on mobile, as some online casino apps feature a slightly smaller game catalog than their desktop counterparts.

As you can see from the table above, Resorts Casino has a massive slots catalog. In fact, the count alone rivals other big-time competitors, such as DraftKings and Caesars Palace. I found all of the most popular game providers included in this catalog (IGT, NetEnt, Light & Wonder, etc.), but I was most impressed by the number of exclusive games available.
In fact, many of the exclusives were even Resorts-branded, which I thought was really cool and assured that you wouldn’t find that exact game on another site. While I enjoyed my time testing those, I knew the exclusive I absolutely had to check out – the above-pictured Jersey Devil Slot. Being a born and raised Jersey boy, this is perhaps one of the most exciting exclusives I’ve come across in any of my testing and reviewing of any online casino. Does Resorts Casino Offer Games You Can’t Find Elsewhere?
Yes, it absolutely does. I briefly mentioned the Jersey Devil Slot and other exclusives above, but there’s plenty more to dive into. I found it really cool that so many of the exclusive games were actually Resorts-branded, such as the options pictured above.
I will say, however, that it can be tough to find exclusive games, as there is no dedicated exclusive section that I could find. Instead, you’ll likely have to scroll through the catalog and look for games that either have Resorts branding or an Exclusive sash on the game tile. That being said, I will mention that I was able to find a lot of the exclusive games in the “Featured” section of the game catalog.

How the Loyalty Program Works
The base rewards program at Resorts is simply known as Resorts Rewards. Upon registration, you’ll automatically join the program and start earning. Through this program, players earn Rewards Points (RP) at the rate I’ve included below:

My Experience with the VIP Perks
I’ve never come close to the Echelon Rewards program, so I can’t comment on that specifically. However, I have earned some RPs through my testing, and I like the idea that the more I earn, the less it is for me to convert them to $1. This is a unique rewards format that I haven’t really come across at many other online casinos, and I appreciated its freshness. I also appreciated the simplicity of the program as a whole. I play, I earn RPs, and I convert them to cash – it’s as simple as that.

In my case, I used PayPal to deposit as I usually do. I find this method to be convenient for me, as I already have a PayPal wallet with my financial accounts linked up. Overall, I think that Resorts Casino is a good option for players in NJ. I will also say that I think, as of right now, there are better options in the state. However, Resorts does have a simple and easily navigable website and app, an extensive game catalog, and fun promotions for new and existing players. There is a lot on offer here, but my biggest takeaway is that some of those things are bogged down by slightly disappointing caveats (good bonuses, but tough terms and conditions; convenient payment methods, but slower-than-average withdrawal times, etc.).

I think that Resorts Casino is a solid place to play for players of all levels. I also believe that high rollers would do well here, as the Echelon Rewards program offers a lot of excellent VIP perks and seems to be a well thought out and valuable loyalty system all in all.
