Blackjack and Roulette

Blackjack appeals to me because it rewards discipline. While the house always maintains an edge — especially in multi-deck games — understanding basic strategy can meaningfully narrow that margin. It’s one of the few casino games where informed decisions truly matter.

Roulette, on the other hand, is pure probability and momentum. There’s no strategy to overcome the edge, which makes it a reminder that sometimes gambling is simply about the experience of the spin — not the illusion of control.
