B-Two Operations, the parent company behind major sweepstakes casino brands like McLuck, Hello Millions, SpinBlitz, and PlayFame, has reopened access to players in Alabama and Georgia.
The change, which appeared in the Aug. 7 update of the sites’ terms and conditions, marks a rare move in the current sweeps casino climate: one where operators have generally been pulling out of states rather than re-entering them.
The updated terms show Alabama and Georgia removed from the excluded states list for McLuck, Hello Millions, SpinBlitz, and PlayFame. The reversal does not yet apply to all B-Two brands, as Mega Bonanza and Jackpota still list the two states as restricted, leaving it unclear if or when access will be restored there.
Why Alabama and Georgia Were Previously Off-Limits
Alabama’s absence from most sweeps casinos’ availability lists has been tied to legal concerns. The state currently has 13 active lawsuits against various sweepstakes operators, including VGW (Chumba Casino, LuckyLand Slots, Global Poker), Stake.us, WOW Vegas, Blazesoft Limited (Fortune Coins, Zula Casino, Sportzino), Modo.us, and A1 Development LLC (Funrize, TaoFortune, FunzCity).
While most such cases are dismissed early due to arbitration clauses and lack of jurisdiction, the sheer volume of litigation makes some operators overly cautious.
Georgia’s situation has been quieter but still notable. In May 2024, VGW faced a lawsuit in the state, but the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia dismissed it later that year, citing a lack of sufficient presence to establish jurisdiction. Following that win, some operators that had exited Georgia, like Zula Casino, re-entered the market.
Why Now?
While B-Two hasn’t publicly commented on its decision, a few factors could explain the timing:
Alabama still has 13 active lawsuits against other sweeps operators, but none appear to be targeting B-Two directly. Given that most such cases are dismissed early due to arbitration clauses and jurisdictional defenses, B-Two may now see the threat as more theoretical than imminent.
Georgia’s only recent case against a sweeps operator (VGW) was dismissed in 2024 for lack of jurisdiction. That ruling likely strengthened the legal precedent that operating in Georgia without a physical presence is low-risk.
Where McLuck, Hello Millions, SpinBlitz, and PlayFame Are Still Off-Limits
After the August update, the following states remain excluded for these B-Two brands:
- Connecticut
- Delaware
- Idaho
- Kentucky
- Louisiana
- Maryland
- Michigan
- Montana
- Nevada
- New Jersey
- New York
- Washington
- West Virginia
Other Operators Still Restricted in Alabama and Georgia
While B-Two is reopening access, other sweepstakes casinos remain unavailable in these states.
In Alabama, restricted sites include Spree, Thrillzz, Vegas Coins, Pulsz Casino, Pulsz Bingo, ClubWPT, and more.
In Georgia, operators like Spree, Sportzino, Carnival Citi, and ClubWPT are still off-limits.
B-Two’s move is a rare bright spot for sweeps casinos in 2025: a year otherwise dominated by legal challenges, state restrictions, and operator pullbacks. The decision to re-enter Alabama and Georgia suggests that at least some industry players see the current legal headwinds as navigable, if not fully cleared.
