Bonus TL;DR
- Bally’s and BKB Bare Knuckle Boxing expanded their partnership to integrate ForceIQ punch-tracking sensors inside hand wraps, feeding real-time speed and G-force metrics directly to arena displays and streaming broadcasts.
- The tour features a card at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Biloxi on October 23 headlined by Jarod Grant vs. Luis Guerrero, prior to the scheduled November 20 event at Bally’s Dover Casino Resort in Delaware.
Bally’s and BKB Bare Knuckle Boxing announced an expanded partnership on October 21, combining casino venues, punch-tracking technology and streaming for Bally’s Fightnight by BKB.
The arrangement brings Bally’s venue operations, ForceIQ technology and distribution platforms together for the fight series, according to LowKick MMA’s report on the announcement. Its next event is scheduled for October 23 at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Biloxi, which is owned and operated by a Bally’s subsidiary.
Bally’s executive chairman Soo Kim described the arrangement in the announcement: “We own the venue, we built the technology and we control the distribution.”
ForceIQ Sends Punch Data to Screens and Broadcasts
Bally’s says its ForceIQ system uses sensors inside fighters’ hand wraps to track punch speed, retraction speed, punch type and G-force readings. The data feeds arena screens and broadcasts simultaneously.
The system supports leaderboards, heat maps, power rankings, predictive insights and fantasy-style scoring. Those features are part of the partnership’s viewing product; the supplied report does not describe a wagering offering tied to the data. However, as gaming conglomerates increasingly integrate proprietary technology into live sports entertainment, analysts view these innovations as potential engagement drivers that can bridge audiences between live sports, interactive media, and an online casino environment.
The Biloxi broadcast is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. CT on Bally Sports Live and EstrellaTV’s free, ad-supported streaming channels.
Biloxi Card Precedes November Stop at Bally’s Dover
The Friday Biloxi event features former BKB lightweight champion Jarod Grant against Luis Guerrero, who replaces Bekhzod Usmonov in the main event. Grant has an 8-3 record with six knockouts; Guerrero is 1-1 with one knockout.
In the co-main event, light heavyweight champion Cub Hawkins moves down to middleweight to face unbeaten Rowdy Montgomery. Former UFC fighters Ike Villanueva and Cody East also meet at bridgerweight, while Biloxi’s former lightweight champion Monica Medina faces Claudia Zamora.
The series then heads to Bally’s casino in Dover, Delaware on November 20. Former WBO junior welterweight title challenger Hank Lundy is scheduled to face Jairo Santos in a five-round welterweight main event. Both fighters will be making their professional bare-knuckle debuts.
