What West Virginia players can access

According to the company announcement, West Virginia customers can now use bet365’s online sportsbook, including its Early Payout Offer, and a range of online casino games.

The launch also includes Daily Prize Matcher, a free-to-play game, and Jackpot365, a new in-house product that bet365 describes as a multi-tier progressive jackpot feature integrated directly into a betslip or casino game.

That product mix makes the West Virginia rollout broader than a sportsbook-only launch, with bet365 bringing over both wagering and casino features at the same time.

West Virginia becomes bet365’s 18th US state launch

bet365 said the West Virginia debut is another step in its broader North American expansion. In a statement, Trip Stoddard, head of development at bet365, said, “West Virginia represents another important step in bet365’s continued expansion across North America.”

Stoddard added, “As we grow our presence across the region, our focus remains on bringing customers the quality, depth and functionality that define the bet365 platform.”

He also pointed to the timing of the launch, saying, “With football season just around the corner, it’s an exciting time to introduce our sportsbook and casino offerings to customers across the state.”

The source announcement did not specify the exact go-live date beyond the Aug. 28 publication date, and it did not identify bet365’s West Virginia licensee or market access partner. It also did not include additional regulatory approval details.

For West Virginia players, the immediate change is that bet365’s sportsbook and casino products are now available in the state. For the company, the move adds another regulated US jurisdiction to its expansion map as the fall sports calendar approaches.
