Bonus TL;DR

  • The 2026 Borgata Big, Big Series is officially underway in Atlantic City, offering more than $6 million in guaranteed prize money through September 23.
  • The festival opened with a $1,100 H.O.R.S.E. tournament and will feature daily satellite qualifiers alongside major tournaments like a $1 million guaranteed Kick Off and a $500,000 Mystery Bounty.

The 2026 Borgata Big, Big Series is underway at Borgata in Atlantic City, New Jersey, with more than $6 million in guaranteed prize money scheduled through Sept. 23.

The series opened with the $1,100 Big Big Welcome H.O.R.S.E. mixed-game tournament, which carries a $25,000 guaranteed prize pool and was scheduled to conclude on Monday, according to PokerNews’ live updates page. The opening of the series matters because it launches one of Borgata’s larger live poker runs of the fall, with buy-ins spanning $600 to $5,300 and several six- and seven-figure guarantees on the calendar.

At the time of PokerNews’ update, the H.O.R.S.E. event was three levels into Day 1 with 12 players registered across two tables, and no eliminations had been recorded.

Satellite qualifiers and headline events on the schedule

PokerNews said it plans to provide regular updates throughout the series, including live reporting from a select group of events.

The schedule highlighted Super Sattie Sunday qualifiers running every other hour from 10 a.m. through 10 p.m. Those include $250 1-in-10 qualifiers for any $2,200 event and $140 1-in-10 qualifiers for any $1,100 tournament on the schedule.

A $1,000 Borgata Big 3 event was also listed with a 4 p.m. start time.

Among the larger events mentioned on the live updates page are:

  • the $1 million guaranteed Kick Off
  • the $500,000 Mystery Bounty
  • the $200,000 guaranteed PLO event at $2,200

What to watch as the series continues

For now, the clearest next milestone is the conclusion of the opening H.O.R.S.E. event on Monday, followed by continued reporting on select tournaments as the series moves deeper into its schedule.

The live updates page does not yet identify winners or advancing players from the opener, but it establishes the broad outline of the festival: a multi-event Borgata poker series in Atlantic City with mixed games, satellites, and higher-guarantee headline tournaments running through Sept. 23.
