Evolution has launched Disco Balls, a new live ball-drawing game inspired by Funky Time’s energy and style. The new game packs a few exciting mechanics. Most notably, multipliers are integrated into the base game, not limited only to the bonus games. Moreover, the multipliers can grow exponentially, reaching up to 10,000x.

“At Evolution, we’re always thinking about how we can grow the gaming industry and contribute something the world has never seen before. With Disco Balls, our goal was to make the base game that you play every round just as fun as a bonus round,” said Todd Haushalter, the Chief Product Officer at Evolution.

Haushalter added: “Today’s player is demanding increasingly more of everything, and this game brings the action. From the second the bets close, players see the potential payouts go higher and higher, and the tension is incredible. This game is like nothing we have done before, and we are very proud because we feel it really advances the industry with a whole new approach to game shows.”

How Disco Balls works

Various features come together to make Disco Balls entertaining and potentially rewarding. Its main feature is the evolving multipliers, which build up in the base game in real-time as the numbers continue drawing. The game has an easy-to-follow number betting mechanic, whereby players choose from 1 to 20. Notably, players can bet on individual numbers or cover multiple outcomes via Low, Even, High, and Odd bets.

After betting, the Disco Cat appears and distributes random multipliers across the grid. The playful cat can assign a Disco Bonus or VIP Disco Bonus to one of the numbers. This then sets the stage for ball drawing, with the balls drawn one at a time. There are two ball types: Step balls and a Result ball. Step balls boost the red or gold multiplier ladder, reaching up to 500x, with the Disco Cat coming back to add more random multipliers and bonus symbols. A Result ball ends the draw and determines the winning number.

Interestingly, the Result ball can reveal a Bonus number, in which case the multipliers collected during the base game carry over to the Disco Bonus or VIP Disco Bonus game. The bonus games are where the Funky Time inspiration comes into play, with Mr. Funky seen dancing across a virtual dance floor while collecting additional multipliers, standing out among live online casino games.

The bonus games end when Mr. Funky falls off the edge of the dance floor. Notably, the dance floor in the VIP Disco bonus is larger, allowing Mr. Funky to collect more multipliers.
