The next chapter of Fanatics Casino’s brand platform “The House Always Rewards” is here, this time starring Academy Award-nominated actress Taraji P. Henson as Fran, the disgruntled Head of Accounting who thinks that the casino’s rewards program is too generous. Fran has a bigger problem to deal with this time, with a new seven-level rewards program dubbed Fanatics ONE Casino Rewards.
Fanatics ONE Casino Rewards
Fanatics ONE Casino Rewards is a seven-level program that rewards players based on their wagering consistency. Players can unlock various rewards as they progress through the seven levels, including:
- FanCash Multipliers – Let players boost their FanCash earnings on featured games.
- Casino Credit offers – Casino Credit rewards that grow bigger with each new level.
- Mystery Drops – Surprise rewards that are available across all seven levels.
- Weekly Bet & Get FanCash – FanCash, the platform’s currency, is completely fluid. Players can redeem it for Bonus Bets, Casino Credit, sports merchandize, and more.
- Weekly Sweepstakes – Access to exclusive weekly sweepstakes at the higher levels.
The new Fanatics ONE Casino Rewards program is now live on the Fanatics Sports and Casino app. The platform is available in Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia, accessible online and downloadable on iOS and Android.
World of Fran
Indeed, everyone is excited about Fanatics’ rewards program – everyone except Fran. She is a penny-pinching accountant who thinks that the casino is giving away too much money in rewards. Unfortunately for her, she can’t escape the frenzy around the rewards program, not even outside the office.
Fran is a long-term comedic character at the center of the brand, this time played by Taraji P. Henson. Notably, the Academy Award-nominated actor is also an outspoken mental health advocate.
Taraji gets together with several other renowned personalities to make the World of Fran come to life, including the following:
- Kaitlyn Bristowe – A popular media personality known for leading one of the most watched seasons of “The Bachelorette.”
- Kameron Saunders – Dancer and choreographer popular for becoming a global fan favorite on Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour.
- Austen Kroll – Reality TV star and entrepreneur from “Southern Charm.”
- Louie Fevola – Brooklyn-born content creator popular for his unfiltered storytelling about his big life.
These media personalities all act as Fran’s coworkers. Fran finds them insufferable because of their enthusiasm about the rewards program, hounding her at every turn to talk about it.
In the first TV spot, dubbed “Did You Hear?,” Fran encounters enthusiastic coworkers everywhere she goes, including in the restroom, all talking about the rewards program. The second TV spot, dubbed Rewards Daymare, is outright weird, featuring animated versions of FanCash Spins, huge jackpots, and bonus credits following her out of the building into her local coffee shop, along a billboard-lined city skyline, and even at her massage table.
“Fran works because everyone around her is genuinely thrilled, and she is genuinely not. Casting Louis, Kameron, Kaitlyn, and Austen let us fill Fran’s world with people audiences already know and love, each bringing their own comedic energy to the one question Fran never wants to hear again: did you hear about the new rewards program?” said Michael Afflick, VP Marketing at Fanatics Casino.
This campaign will roll out across multiple mediums, including TV, online video, social, digital, and out-of-home spaces. Interestingly, each cast member will also be allowed to share original social content from the World of Fran campaign. This will give fans a behind-the-scenes look at life inside one of the most rewarding real-money online casinos in the United States while also extending the campaign’s reach across those media personalities’ own channels.
