Bonus TL;DR

  • FanDuel launched a five-tier Rewards Club where users earn points on every bet, including losing wagers.
  • The launch supports a broader marketing strategy unifying FanDuel’s traditional sportsbook and newer prediction-market products.

FanDuel has opened a new Rewards Club to all users, formalizing a points-based system that lets customers earn rewards on every bet, including losing wagers.

The launch matters because it gives the largest U.S. sportsbook operator a more structured retention tool at the start of football season, while also reinforcing a broader marketing push around FanDuel’s sportsbook and prediction-market products.

According to Sports Business Journal, the program opened to all users at the start of the month. Players earn points with each bet, and wagers at longer odds earn more points. The club includes five levels, with standard daily promotions at each tier.

FanDuel executive Karol Corcoran told SBJ the new feature is designed to add consistency and choice to the operator’s promotional offering. “Every time you place a bet with FanDuel now, you’re getting something that gets you a little closer to your next reward,” Corcoran said.

What the FanDuel Rewards Club includes

The new program offers more than standard daily promos. FanDuel said “choose your reward” options begin at the second tier, and weekly bonus bet opportunities range from $10 to $5,000 depending on a customer’s level.

At a glance, the source report says the club includes:

  • Five tiers of rewards
  • Points earned on every bet
  • More points for longer-odds wagers
  • Standard daily promos at each level
  • “Choose your reward” options starting at tier two
  • Weekly bonus bet opportunities from $10 to $5,000

FanDuel also tied the launch to new advertising. SBJ reported that the company ran a Thursday night commercial featuring Rob Gronkowski with the tagline, “Make this your most rewarding season ever.”

Rewards launch arrives alongside prediction-market push

The same report said FanDuel is also promoting its availability through a mix of sportsbook and prediction market products, especially in states such as California and Texas, where traditional online sportsbook access is limited.

Corcoran told SBJ that FanDuel has brought sports-focused teams together across sportsbook and prediction products on the product, marketing and technology sides. He also said the two businesses are monetized differently: sportsbook revenue comes from betting margin, while prediction products can generate revenue through transaction fees and market making.

That makes the Rewards Club launch more than a simple promo update. It is part of a wider effort by FanDuel to keep sportsbook users engaged while presenting its sports offerings in a more unified way across regulated betting and newer prediction-market products.

What comes next is whether FanDuel adds more detail on the exact rewards available at each tier and how broadly this structure becomes part of its national sports marketing campaign.
