Jackpot City Online Casino (JCOC) is live in Pennsylvania, and the online gambling operator mentioned plans to bring the app to New Jersey soon. For now, JCOC is available in the Keystone State on Android devices and desktop computers, with an iPhone app coming later.

The Jackpot City debut is the latest event in a busy end of the year for the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB). Fanatics Casino is expected to launch its new iGaming app around Christmas. Golden Nugget Online Casino (GNOC) went live in August.

The New Jersey regulator’s site doesn’t show JCOC active on any license yet.

However, a JCOC job listing posted in November on LinkedIn says:

Digital Gaming Corporation (DGC), a Super Group LTD (NYSE: SGHC) company, will operate Jackpot City in the USA, offering the full spectrum of online casino and live dealer table games to customers in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Jackpot City Online Casino Launched Via Live!

Meanwhile, the Pennsylvania JCOC desktop site shows the new online casino operator partnered with Stadium Casino, which is doing business as Live! Casino.

On Dec. 6, Corey Sharp reported for PlayPennsylvania that the site went live on the license last week.

Sharp wrote:

Live! Casino Philadelphia now operates three online casinos, PlayLive! Casino, Betway Casino PA, and now Jackpot City. The PGCB does not have any limitations on how many partners a certificate holder can have.

Jackpot City Online Casino Slots

As for Pennsylvania online casino gamblers, the name Jackpot City may not mean as much to them as the entity operating the brand — Digital Gaming Corporation (DGC). DGC is known for its online slot titles, which online gambling operators, including Caesars Palace Online Casino and FanDuel Casino, use.

Relatedly, JCOC lists Mask of Amun and Hyper Goldalso available on CPOC and FanDuel — as two of its most popular slots as of Dec. 7.

With Jackpot City’s live dealer offerings listed first, six “popular slots” are shown next, with “table games” rounding out the top-of-the-page games.

The most popular JackpotCity Casino slots on Dec. 7 were:

  • Fortune Coin
  • Cash Eruption
  • Cleopatra
  • Hyper Gold
  • Thunderstruck Wild Lightning (also on FanDuel Casino)
  • Mask of Amun

JCOC, Super Group, and Betway

Jackpot City’s launch in Pennsylvania may have felt like a surprise to US online gamblers, but JCOC owner Super Group provided a slight hint about its possibility back in February.

The Guernsey-based holding company that also owns Betway announced it plans to concentrate on business-to-consumer iGaming.

On Feb. 6, Super Group stated its “proposed sale of the non-core B2B division of the recently acquired Digital Gaming Corporation (“DGC B2B”) to Games Global.”

Super Group CEO Neal Menashe said on Feb. 6:

Disposing of DGC’s B2B division makes commercial sense and will allow us to continue to focus solely on our B2C growth in the United States.
