Mohegan Pennsylvania Celebrates 20th Anniversary with $200,000 Giveaway, Live Performance by Country Artist ERNEST, and More

Mohegan Pennsylvania is turning 20 this November, and it has an exciting lineup of offers and entertainment events to celebrate this milestone anniversary—proving why it remains a standout destination even amidst rising competition from top online casinos. Most notably, the casino will host a $200,000 Anniversary Giveaway, a chance to win a premium Metallica concert getaway package, and a live performance by country music star ERNEST.

$200,000 Anniversary Giveaway 

The anniversary celebration will begin with a $200,000 giveaway targeting Momentum members. The giveaway started on October 1 and will continue through November 14, when the drawing will take place. Until then, participants can collect entries by earning more Status Points – one Status Point earns you one entry. 

Interestingly, there are special days when participants can maximize their chances of winning – Fridays bring 20X entries, while Sundays and Tuesdays bring 10X entries. 

Drawings will be held on Saturday, November 14. Notably, the casino will announce further details regarding drawing times, activation periods, and prizes soon. 

Live performance by country music artist ERNEST 

Mohegan Pennsylvania is bringing upcoming country music artist ERNEST for a live performance to headline the 20^th anniversary celebration. ERNEST is making a mark in country music with several chart-topping hits and songwriting credits with some of the genre’s biggest stars, including Florida Georgia Line and Morgan Wallen. His most recent album, Deep Blue, released in May this year, is already critically acclaimed. 

The live performance will be held in the Keystone Grand Ballroom on Saturday, November 14, starting at 7:30 p.m. Notably, special guest Cody Lohden will open the show. Tickets go on sale on Friday, September 18, at 10:00 a.m. 

Premium Metallica concert getaway 

Mohegan Pennsylvania guests will also have the chance to win the Metallica Ticket Package Giveaway to go see the legendary rock band perform at the Mohegan Sun Arena. Interestingly, the band will be performing in celebration of the 30^th anniversary of Mohegan Sun and the 25^th anniversary of the award-winning 10,000-seat Mohegan Sun Arena. Metallica is scheduled for two special live performances: one on November 19 and another on August 21. 

The Metallica Ticket Package Giveaway goes live on November 1, running through November 13. Momentum members will get one entry for every Status Point earned during this period. The drawing will happen on November 13, when one lucky player will receive the package, which includes: 

• Two premium tickets to see Metallica perform live. 
• A complimentary three-night stay at Mohegan Sun’s luxury hotel in Connecticut. 
• $100 in dining credit. 
• A gift package featuring exclusive commemorative collectibles and keepsakes.

Community appreciation event 

Mohegan Pennsylvania appreciates the dedication of individuals and organizations that have helped shape its success over the past 20 years. In recognition, the casino will host a special Community Appreciation Happy Hour at Breakers. The event is scheduled for November 12, running from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The event will bring together non-profit organizations, local community partners, business leaders, and members of the media. 

History of Mohegan Pennsylvania 

Mohegan Pennsylvania opened its doors on November 14, 2006, and has evolved over the past two decades to become one of the state’s premier entertainment destinations. Beyond gaming and sports betting, the casino also offers hotel accommodations, dining, and entertainment events throughout the year. The property, which sits on 400 acres, features a 238-room hotel with an on-site spa, a 20,000-square-foot convention center, and 80,000 square feet of gaming space, including over 1,500 slot machines and almost 60 live table games. 

Mohegan Pennsylvania has been investing in its growth since it launched. In 2019, the casino introduced sports wagering to expand its gaming offerings. In 2022, it launched Embers Terrace, which offers dining, drinks, live entertainment, and outdoor attractions during summer. In 2024, the property undertook an extensive $10 million renovation of its hotel. More recently, Embers Terrace got a refreshing uplift in 2026 to enhance the casino’s outdoor entertainment offerings.
