Black Hawk sits about 40 miles northwest of Denver, with Central City roughly two miles further up the canyon. Cripple Creek is around 45 miles southwest of Colorado Springs.
Colorado also has two tribal casinos, both in the southwest corner of the state. Ute Mountain Casino is in Towaoc, near the Four Corners, and Sky Ute Casino Resort is in Ignacio, closer to the New Mexico border.
