BetRivers Poker Promo Code 2025 – Launch Updates

BetRivers Poker launched in Pennsylvania on October 31, 2024. Rush Street Interactive, the company behind the BetRivers and SugarHouse online gaming and sports betting brands, purchased RunItOnce Poker in March 2022 and rebranded it 2.5 years later.

BetRivers Poker is the fourth legal real money online poker network in Pennsylvania. As the newest arrival, it offers attractive bonuses, rakeback initiatives, and a lower rake structure than its competitors.

In this article, you’ll learn everything you need to know about BetRivers Poker. We’ll discuss the bonuses, software, games available, deposit and withdrawal methods, and rewards. You can also read how BetRivers Poker compares to other Pennsylvania online poker rooms.

The minimum deposit for this offer is $10.

Online poker bonuses often vary wildly depending on the state you’re in. They can also change frequently, and the newer bonus is usually less attractive. As such, you want to take advantage of this offer as soon as possible, especially if you’ve been on the fence about joining.

BetRivers Poker Bonus Codes for May 2025

BetRivers Poker offers new users up to $1,000 when signing up.

You’ll earn this bonus in $5 increments, which will be credited automatically to your account every time you contribute $25 in rake.

You can receive this bonus by playing on the BetRivers Poker app or using a desktop client. Texas Hold’em and Omaha cash games and tournaments apply.

This offer is available in January 2025 using the BetRivers Poker bonus code. The bonus will automatically be applied after you make your first deposit.

BetRivers Poker currently operates in Pennsylvania. While no news has surfaced about future state launches, we expect to see the site go live in New Jersey and Michigan sooner rather than later. RSI became the Delaware Lottery’s online gambling partner in 2023, so it could also launch in Delaware.

How Do I Get the BetRivers Poker Bonus Code Offer?

The sign-up process takes less than five minutes to complete. You’ll need to create a username and password and provide the following information:

  • Legal first and last name
  • Email address
  • Date of birth
  • Address
  • Phone Number
  • The last four digits of your Social Security number

From there, you’ll need to take a selfie and pictures of your ID or driver’s license to complete the identity verification process. Then, you’ll be ready to deposit.

The 100% first-time deposit bonus will automatically apply to your account after you sign up and make your first deposit. Your bonus equals your deposit amount (up to $1,000), so remember this when funding your account.

After you’ve deposited, all you need to do to earn your bonus is play! Every $25 you contribute in rake while playing tournament and cash games will unlock $5 of your bonus and automatically credit it to your account. Any money earned from bonuses is yours to play with or cash out with no further requirements to fulfill.

You have 120 days from depositing to fulfill this bonus. To claim the full bonus offer, you’d need to deposit $1,000 and contribute $5,000 in rake over roughly four months.

Payments at BetRivers Poker

BetRivers Poker offers all the same deposit options as BetRivers Casino and Sportsbook. These include:

  • PayPal and Venmo
  • RushCash at Rivers Casino and Giant Eagle Supermarket in Brentwood
  • Check by mail

Types of Poker Games at BetRivers Poker

BetRivers Poker offers two different games you can play: Texas Hold’em and Omaha. The two games are very similar but have a few differences.

In Hold’em, you’re dealt two cards and share five community cards with other players in the hand. The game has four betting rounds: preflop, flop, turn, and river.

Preflop action occurs before any community cards come. The flop brings the first three community cards, followed by the turn and the river. The highest hand wins the pot.

In Omaha, you’re dealt four cards, and you must use exactly two of them to form your five-card hand with the community cards. Omaha also imposes pot limits, meaning you can bet the current big blind up to the current value of the pot. Hold’em, on the other hand, usually is played with no betting limits.

BetRivers Poker spreads No-Limit Hold’em and Pot-Limit Omaha in its cash games and tournaments. SnG tournaments are only offered in Hold’em. Playing any of these games counts toward your first deposit bonus, too.

Cash Games

As for the games themselves, cash games allow you to buy in at a table (usually for 100 big blinds) and play the agreed-upon stakes for as little or as much time as you’d like. The blinds never change, and you can always top off your buy-in or rebuy if you lose your chips.

BetRivers Poker offers cash games as low as $0.01-$0.02 ($2 buy-in) to as high as $5/$10 ($1,000 buy-in).

Tournaments

On the other hand, tournaments have a fixed buy-in that gives every participant the same starting stack. The blinds increase regularly, creating pressure on players’ stacks. After late registration closes, the tournament progresses until one player has earned all the chips.

Multi-table tournaments, or MTTs, can have large fields and guaranteed prize pools. Conversely, SnGs run when a single table fills.

BetRivers Poker regularly runs tournaments ranging from 10 cents to $100. Depending on the day, these tournaments guarantee prize pools of between 25 and 50 entries. Sunday’s largest event is a $100 NLH tournament with a $7,500 guaranteed prize pool, and most smaller buy-ins on Sundays guarantee 100 entries worth of prizes.

The most popular SnG format today is a three-handed jackpot tournament. BetRivers Poker offers the Cub3d Sit n Go, which allows players to win up to 1,500 times their buy-in. It offers Cub3d buy-ins at $0.25, $1, $5, $10 and $25.

What Poker Network is BetRivers On?

BetRivers Poker runs on its own network and is currently only available in Pennsylvania. In a ring-fenced poker market since 2019, Pennsylvania announced in October 2024 that it planned to join the Multi-State Internet Gaming Agreement (MSIGA), which includes Delaware, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, and West Virginia.

Of those markets, Michigan, Nevada, and New Jersey have active online poker economies. Delaware has been without online poker – where it offered shared cash game fields on 888poker with WSOP.com in Nevada and New Jersey –  since December 2023. Still, BetRivers could launch there in a similar multistate effort with Michigan and New Jersey.

If BetRivers goes live in Delaware, Michigan, and New Jersey, it could become the first four-state network in the US.

PokerStars and BetMGM Poker have shared player pools in Michigan and New Jersey, while WSOP.com has a three-state market that also includes Nevada. All three operators have separate Pennsylvania sites and would quickly look to add the Keystone State to their multistate networks.

Of course, any expansion into new markets requires regulatory approval. Interstate agreements require even more.

In the meantime, BetRivers runs smaller tournaments and has fewer cash games than its competitors. To offset this, it has a user-friendly interface and a more player-friendly (lower) rake structure than the other three options in Pennsylvania.

BetRivers Poker Rewards Program

BetRivers Poker allows you to accrue iRush Rewards while playing cash games and tournaments. The rewards come in three forms: loyalty level points, tier points, and bonus store points.

Each $1 in rake earns you four (4) loyalty points, which you can redeem for rewards. The rewards system has 10 loyalty levels, 0-9, and each level earns you better reward options.

You’ll also receive tier points that count toward your iRush Rewards status. The higher your tier (Gold, Platinum, Black), the more benefits you receive.

Lastly, depending on your loyalty level and tier status, you’ll receive bonus store points that you can redeem for your available benefits.

BetRivers Poker vs. Other Online Poker Sites

BetRivers Poker is the newest online poker site in Pennsylvania. It joins four other websites across three networks: WSOP.com, BetMGM Poker (and Borgata Online Poker), and PokerStars.

It is a growing site with enough action to supplement or fill your monitor, regardless of whether you play cash games or tournaments. As a new site, it is also innovating with lower rake and consistent software updates. BetRivers Poker has the potential to become a household name in poker in the future as it receives market access in additional states and Pennsylvania joins the MSIGA.
