Canadian-based Bragg Gaming continues its expansion in the US via a partnership with Golden Nugget Casino in Michigan. Golden Nugget players can now play games like Egyptian Magic and Cai Fu Emperor Ways by Bragg’s in-house Atomic Slot Lab studio and Devil’s Lock from its partner studio, Bluberi.
Golden Nugget is the latest Michigan casino to introduce Bragg’s games. Other operators with the games include DraftKings, BetMGM, and BetRivers. Notable, Caesars Palace Casino has struck a deal with Bragg to create a customized version of Egyptian Magic featuring Caesars’ Lady Luck retail casino brand.
Bragg sees Michigan as a key market. In 2023, online casinos in the state generated over $1.9 billion in gaming revenue. Quoting information from H2 Gambling Capital, the company expects the state’s gaming revenue to reach over $2 billion in 2024. Bonus Managing News Editor Alex Weldon projects that the state total for the year will be $2.2 billion.
The partnership marks Bragg’s latest step in expanding its footprint in the US. Aside from Michigan casinos, Bragg Gaming’s content is available at online casinos in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut.
According to Kunal Mishra, Chief Operating Officer – Americas at Bragg Gaming Group, the deal with Golden Nugget aligns with the company’s goal of expansion and vision of delivering cutting-edge game solutions to the growing US market. He added,

Game in Focus: Devil’s Lock
Devil’s Lock by Bluberi features a traditional 5×3 layout and 40 paylines. It has low volatility and a maximum RTP of 96.3%, though this is subject to configuration by the operator.
The game offers players a few special features, including the eponymous Devil’s Lock, with the potential to win one of four jackpots, free spins, and a rewind feature.
The centerpiece of the slot is the Devil Wild, which appears only on the middle reel. As well as substituting for other symbols, the Wild can trigger the game’s bonus features. The Devil’s Lock is activated when the player lands the Wild with one or more cash symbols. The Wild unlocks the value of those symbols, which could include one of the four jackpots, and the player wins the cash prize.
Additionally, each time the Wild appears, it feeds coins to one of two piggy banks on top of the reels. After each coin, the piggy banks have a random chance to award six free spins. The Devil Wild remains locked in place during this feature, increasing the likelihood of a win.
Meanwhile, the rewind feature can be triggered randomly during the base game or free spins. The center reel can randomly rewind the existing symbol for a chance to land a Devil Wild. Also, each time the Wild appears on the center reel, any of the other reels can randomly rewind to land on a cash value symbol or one of the four jackpots.
