Bonus TL;DR

  • Novig launched a national brand campaign starring Sydney Sweeney to promote its 21+ sports prediction market.
  • The campaign highlights Novig’s strict sports-only, no-politics focus and 21-and-older age requirement during the NFL season.

Novig has launched its first national brand campaign, putting Sydney Sweeney at the center of a new push for its 21+ sports prediction market in the United States.

The campaign, titled “Just Sports,” is notable because it sharpens Novig’s positioning in a fast-growing prediction market category: sports only, no politics, and access limited to users 21 and older. The company said the campaign is running across digital, social, online video, and out-of-home placements throughout the NFL season.

Sweeney said in a press release that the campaign was designed to “cut through the noise and put the focus entirely on sports.” She also described the creative execution as delivered “with confidence, humor and a playful edge.”

Novig leans into sports-only positioning

Novig said it launched nationwide in August under what it described as a federally regulated framework. The company also said it is the only prediction market with a 21+ age requirement.

That messaging appears central to the new ad push. In a statement, co-founder and CEO Jacob Fortinsky said sports fans deserve “a prediction market built specifically for them” and said Sweeney helped make that positioning “impossible to ignore.”

The campaign arrives as prediction-market operators compete to define their place with U.S. sports bettors and adjacent audiences. According to a May 2026 Pew Research Center analysis cited in the source report, sports made up 80% of Kalshi’s trading volume since July 2024 and 39% of Polymarket’s volume over the same period.

Early engagement and market context

The source report also said Novig generated outsized social traction around the launch. One Instagram post tied to the campaign reportedly drew 860,000 likes and 17,400 comments within a day, even though the account had fewer than 60,000 followers.

For the broader industry, the campaign shows how prediction market brands are increasingly borrowing mainstream sportsbook marketing tactics, including celebrity-led national advertising tied to the football calendar. At the same time, Novig is trying to distinguish itself by emphasizing category limits rather than breadth, especially its sports-only focus and 21-plus minimum age.

What comes next is straightforward: Novig’s campaign is set to remain in market through the NFL season, giving operators and industry watchers a clearer test of whether celebrity-driven brand marketing can help a sports-focused prediction market break through in a crowded U.S. betting and forecasting landscape.
