Controversial Anti-Cheating Online Poker Bill Dies in Nevada Assembly Judiciary Committee
The Nevada bill seeking to force operators to disclose lists of players they’ve banned does not have enough support to pass this year. Opinion: Las Vegas Shooter FBI Files Reveal Details, But We’ll Never Find Answers
The FBI has released new documents relating to Stephen Paddock, who killed 61 people (including himself) at the Route 91 Harvest Music Festival in Las Vegas in 2017. Paddock left no letter or manifesto to indicate a motive, and the FBI’s heavily redacted files provide no additional insight. However, they provide some new details, like his anger over reduced […]
Penn State Study Shows Impact of Regulated Gambling on Black Market
Data from a Penn State study supports the claim that fewer people bet illegally on offshore sites when local, regulated options are available. Diverting players from unsafe, illegal sites to comparatively safer regulated ones is one of the most common arguments for legalization. The university’s 2022 Online Gambling Report shows that far more Pennsylvanians now bet online legally […]
