Borgata Online Adds ‘Arcade’ Tab for Specialty Slots, Slingo, LuckyTap & More

Borgata Online has added a new Arcade tab with video-game themed slots, Slingo, LuckyTap, and scratch-offs.

New Jersey users of Borgata Online will notice a new tab in the navigation the next time they log in: Arcade. It appears just after the three primary categories: Sports, Casino, and Poker.

BetMGM, which owns the site, describes the Arcade category as a home for “non-traditional” iGaming content. In other words, it’s a subsection of the online casino for players looking to find more unusual themes and mechanics.

What’s in the Borgata Arcade?

Slots with brand tie-ins feature heavily in the Arcade, like Ghost Busters, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II. You’ll also find mechanically unique series of games from particular developers:

  • Slingo by Gaming Realms: A cross between slots and bingo, with the option to increase your wager for additional chances when your round comes up just short of a win.
  • LuckyTap by DWG: An ultra-simple series of games that make it immediately apparent whether you’ve won without memorizing any paylines or symbols.
  • Scratch games by NextGen: These casino games use virtual scratch-off mechanics that will feel familiar to lottery and iLottery players.

Matt Prevost, BetMGM’s Chief Revenue Officer, said:

Borgata Arcade offers an all-in-one place for players to find their favorite games. From the traditional shopping mall arcade to its popularity in home consoles, the arcade continues to evolve as BetMGM now brings it to life in iGaming.

BetMGM has been looking for ways to bring smaller, more focused collections of content to players. Last year, it launched Wheel of Fortune Casinothe first US iGaming site to concentrate on a single franchise in that way. While Borgata Arcade isn’t a standalone site, it constitutes a similar effort to provide a customized experience for a particular subset of users.

Pick a Power-Up Prize Board

Borgata Online is also offering a special promotion to encourage players to visit the Arcade.

For every $20 wagered on Arcade games, you’ll earn one randomized prize through a mini-game where you choose between various arcade-themed “power-ups.”

You need to claim the prize the same day you earn it. It will be one of the following:

  • Between $1 and $5 in bonus cash with a 10x playthrough requirement and seven days to clear it.
  • 800 Borgata Rewards Points, equivalent to what you’d earn for $4000 worth of regular play.
  • $1000 instant cash with no playthrough requirement.
