Flutter Launches Vegas Infinite for Android Mobile Devices, iOS to Follow

just months after rebranding to vegas infinite and launching a pc version, flutter’s vr-based social casino is available for android devices.

Vegas Infinite—a virtual reality social casino by Flutter Entertainment—has released a mobile version for Android devices, available in Early Access through Google Play. That gives players a second way to play the game without a headset, following the release of a VR-optional desktop version last year.

Previously known as PokerStars VR, Vegas Infinite launched in 2018—as a “groundbreaking virtual reality experience” from Flutter subsidiary PokerStars. However, late last year, PokerStars rebranded the popular app and expanded its offerings beyond poker for a more realistic metaverse casino experience. A PC version that no longer required a VR headset followed only weeks later.

Launching on Android marks another milestone toward an effort to make the game more widely accessible. Apple users don’t need to feel left out, however.

Vegas Infinite for iPhone and iPad is coming soon. A PokerStars rep confirmed this to Bonus via email:

An iOS version is currently being worked on, and the launch of this will follow later.

James O’Reilly, PokerStars’ Director of VR and Innovation, said in the release that he’s “astonished” at how far the Android effort has come after months of development.

Vegas Infinite stands apart for the quality of our environments, the authenticity of our games, and the participation of our community, so we had already set ourselves a very high bar.

This is more than a simple mirroring of our PC version. We’ve rebuilt Vegas Infinite so that it’s easy and intuitive to play on an Android device without losing any of the richness and variety of experience our players expect. It’s a huge achievement from the team, and I can’t wait to share it.

Vegas Infinite Android: a Completely Rebuilt Experience

According to the release, developers from Lucky VR and PokerStars’ in-house “disruptive innovation” team completely rebuilt the social casino “from the ground up.”

Players can “leap into the game’s breathtaking environments” from Android phones and devices. Once inside, they can dive into authentic poker, blackjack, roulette, craps, and slots experiences. There is also an “endless” supply of props and items to customize and a mobile-optimized user interface.

The latter allows players to navigate the app’s environments and games freely in real time using over-the-shoulder and birds-eye-view modes. Vegas Infinite for Android also allows players to interact with props, view cards, handle chips, and shake and toss dice—all while virtually chatting with friends.

The Android update also introduced a new avatar system that permits “unprecedented options for customization” and allows players to express their individuality and style.

For now, while in Early Access, players can choose from 30 custom character designs. However, PokerStars said the avatar system will evolve as features are expanded and enhanced over the next year.

Gameplay Continues Across Platforms

After downloading Vegas Infinite for Android from the Google Play Store, players receive a 30,000-chip welcome bonus and free chip top-ups every 8 hours. They also get credits to customize the apps’ in-game accessories and apparel.

Notably, players can save progress across platforms, including PC, Steam VR, and Meta Quest, by logging into their Vegas Infinite account. They can also access safety tools that permit taking breaks, setting spending limits, issuing player reports, and customizing in-game interactions.
