The resumption of business for land-based casinos appears to have no negative effect on mobile casinos in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Both states realized record-setting monthly revenue figures in August 2020, as the popularity of legal online gambling continues to gain.
Annual revenue crossed the half-billion mark for the year in New Jersey, while Pennsylvania’s online casino market appears to have hit its stride just over a year after launch. New Jersey and Pennsylvania combined stand at over $861 million in online casino revenue in 2020.
That figure could go over the $1 billion milestone when September’s revenue figures post, as the upward trend for legal online gambling in the US shows no signs of slowing down.
