The additional products come as part of BetMGM’s push to make up a quarter of the iGaming market share in the US. The brand also reported a 23% share of the US iGaming market from December 2020 through February 2021.
What To Expect From Borgata Bingo
For Borgata Bingo, ROAR Digital will likely introduce a platform reminiscent of Foxy Bingo but tailored for the US market. Foxy Bingo, a UK bingo app, is owned by Entain plc, a parent company of ROAR.
Players at Borgata Bingo will be able to purchase bingo cards for scheduled as well as instant drawings, and different combinations will trigger tiered prizes. Some payouts will be based on prize pools, others will have fixed prizes.
The precise details are still unknown.
How BetMGM Horse Racing Will Work
For BetMGM Horse Racing, expect a similar model to that of TwinSpires. While TwinSpires offers online sports betting and casino gaming in a few states, the brand also offers a horse racing platform in over 30 jurisdictions. Other popular horse race betting apps include TVG and NYRA Bets.
You can expect BetMGM Horse Racing to be more widely available than the BetMGM Sportsbook or BetMGM Casino. The age requirement for the standalone BetMGM Horse Racing app will be 18 and up rather than the 21 and up age requirement of the other products.
