Evolution has introduced its live dealer craps product in Michigan, meaning the classic game is now available in all online casino states, except for Connecticut and Delaware. As the world’s most prolific live dealer provider, Evolution first added craps to its European offerings in 2020. In 2022, it brought the game to the US with a launch in Pennsylvania. West Virginia and New Jersey followed later in the same year.
Delaware’s online casinos are a lottery monopoly and lack online casinos. However, there’s a good chance Connecticut will be the next state to see Evolution Live Craps.
Craps has been slower to roll out than other products because of technical regulatory issues regarding the dice. In New Jersey, for instance, Evolution needed special permission to use generic dice since the rules for retail casinos stipulated that dice must feature the casino’s branding.
Evolution says it has designed its products to make them easily understood by experienced players and newcomers alike. Live Craps’ features include an Easy Mode with fewer betting options and an interactive tutorial for first-time players. The game also offers a speakeasy-style atmosphere, aiming to capture the essence of traditional craps tables.
Evolution’s CEO Jacob Claesson had stated that US players should expect many more titles in 2023, including new Game Show products. The company also recently extended its partnership with Galaxy Gaming, which will mean new exclusive side bets for blackjack and possibly standalone games like Caribbean Stud Poker.
Evolution Is The Leading Provider Of Live Dealer Games In The US
Evolution AB (publ) 11,67 +4,38% has studios in four US states:
- New Jersey,
- Pennsylvania, and
West Virginia allows it to stream games from Pennsylvania, removing the need for an in-state studio.
Because of that coverage, Evolution is the number one provider of live dealer games in the US. Currently, its only rival is Playtech, with studios in New Jersey and Michigan. Light & Wonder has also promised to bring live dealer games to the US but has yet to open its first studio. The first company to launch live dealer games in the US, Ezugi, is now a subsidiary of Evolution.
Evolution has partnerships with most US online casinos. Its clients include all the market share leaders: BetMGM, DraftKings, FanDuel, and BetRivers. Its catalog includes variations on classic games like Speed Blackjack and Lightning Roulette.
While known for its live dealer games, Evolution also has an extensive slots portfolio. In fact, some of the most popular titles in US online casinos come from Evolution, including:
- Divine Fortune
- Mercy of the Gods
- Gonzo’s Quest
Because of the way it has aggressively pursued acquisitions, Evolution has become the largest B2B gambling company in the world, with a market capitalization of over $27 billion.
Evolution Expects More US Growth In 2023 With Exciting And Unique Titles
Claesson recently did a Q&A session with Bonus. During that conversation, he said he expects “more of the same” in 2023. According to him, the company has just scratched the surface of the American market and hopes to speed up the pace at which it introduces new games and features.
Claesson says Evolution is all about creating “world’s firsts.”
In 2023, Evolution will focus on rolling out its game show titles in the US. Most of these games are twists on the “Big Wheel” casino format and have proven highly successful in Europe. Some even include augmented reality features.
- Deal or No Deal,
- Coin Flip, and
- Several variations on Monopoly
Aside from live dealer games, the company expects to roll out many new slot titles through its subsidiaries, like NetEnt, Red Tiger, Nolimit City, and Big Time Gaming.
