New Jersey iGaming players now have one more option: Horseshoe Online Casino. The state is the fourth US launch for Caesars Interactive’s newest brand, completing its rollout in all North American iGaming markets to which the company has access. Following Horseshoe’s debut in Michigan less than two months ago, the rapid rollout underscores the company’s high expectations for the brand.
What To Expect From Horseshoe Online Casino
Players in the Garden State will find Horseshoe Online Casino to visually resemble Caesars’ flagship brand, Caesars Palace Online Casino. That includes hundreds of popular slots, table games, and live dealer games. In addition to several exclusive games, Horseshoe also offers five branded games, something that’s becoming a signature feature for Caesars:
- Horseshoe Rising Rewards
- 2x3x Horseshoe
- Horseshoe 3 Coin Cowboy
- Horseshoe Slick Riches LuckyTap
- Horseshoe Live Dealer Blackjack
Live dealer blackjack is the newest addition to branded games and is only available in New Jersey and neighboring Pennsylvania. Compared to the rest of the live dealer options on the site, it has the highest minimum bet of $50, and a maximum of $5,000.
As a Caesars brand, Horseshoe is also part of the Caesars Rewards loyalty program. Those with a login for one Caesars brand, such as Caesars Palace Online Casino, can use it at Horseshoe without repeating the sign-up process. They do have to set up their payment information as it remains separate. With the Caesars Rewards program, players can earn points towards digital rewards like bonus bets or benefits at retail Caesars properties like discounted hotel stays.

Horseshoe Now Available in Five Jurisdictions
Horseshoe Online Casino is now available in Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Ontario. The brand debuted in Michigan at the beginning of October, replacing Wynn Bet. The company saw positive early signs of its performance in the state and quickly expanded to Pennsylvania at the end of the month. Horseshoe followed that with a West Virginia launch a few days later and expanded internationally with an Ontario launch.
Caesars’ decision to bring Horseshoe to Ontario suggests it sees greater potential for the brand than its longer-standing Harrah’s and Tropicana brands. While it’s still early days for the brand, preliminary revenue data from Michigan suggests that Horseshoe had higher revenue in its first month than WynnBet in its final month.
In October, Horseshoe generated $2.77 million in revenue, outperforming WynnBet’s final month in September, which brought in $2.29 million. That places Horseshoe 12th among Michigan’s 15 online casinos, with a 1.25% market share. Notably, the brand surpassed PokerStars Casino, but a strong performance by betParx, which went from 13th to 11th, kept Horseshoe in the same spot formerly occupied by WynnBet.
Second New NJ Online Casino to Launch This Month
Horseshoe is the second online casino brand to launch in New Jersey this month. At the beginning of November, Monopoly Casino went live, replacing Virgin Casino. As the name suggests, Monopoly Casino is branded after the famous board game and offers many Monopoly-themed games and features. Interestingly, the two sites are similar in that they try to appeal to users through a branded experience with unique features and games.
That could be one way to gain market share in the US’s oldest and most saturated iGaming market. There are about 30 New Jersey online casinos, so the competition is fierce and not too friendly to newcomers. Despite the stiff competition, New Jersey remains an attractive opportunity for operators as the industry continues to grow. Notably, last month marked a milestone as the first time online casinos overtook retail casinos in gross gaming revenue. That signals New Jersey consumers are increasingly choosing online casinos over retail ones.
