Tipico Online Casino has given its New Jersey app a makeover, featuring faster performance, more games, and a friendlier look and feel. Tipico is a big name in European sports betting, but New Jersey is its only toehold in the US online casino market. It has been offering sports betting there since 2020 and online casino games since 2021. The new app update rolled out on October 17, 2023.
Tipico’s CEO of US operations, Adrian Vella, said:
We are excited to unveil a completely original experience for customers who desire to play Casino games in New Jerse. Unlike other online casinos that pigeonhole players, our product helps expedite the real money deposit and withdrawal process, providing a safe, secure experience. We are uniquely positioned to make huge leaps in 2024 and beyond with a combination of original and classic content, efficient processing, and our trusted brand heritage.
The company describes the purpose of the update as taking proven concepts from the play-money social casino space and applying them to a real-money product. It hopes this will help attract a “more diverse” audience. In part, that may mean making its product more appealing to women.
Sports betting, where Tipico has its roots, is a product whose audience skews heavily male. That was reflected in the visual presentation of its previous app. However, a recent gambling prevalence study shows that the number of New Jersey women gambling online is increasing rapidly.
Faster Payment Processing
One thing online casino players often want to know is which sites have the fastest payouts. Tipico appears to be listening because this app update has made that a priority.
The company claims that its new app is seven times faster in terms of withdrawal time. Processing of deposits is also quicker by 50%.
A Casual Makeover for Tipico
Before the update, Tipico’s branding could have been described as aggressive, high-tech and macho. It had gone with red and black as its color scheme, a dot-com era aesthetic for its logo, and a functional layout for the casino interface.
That’s all gone now. The new color scheme is “teal, navy and magenta”—or pink and blue if you aren’t a graphic designer: cotton candy colors.
The interface is now less static than it was and features animations as the user navigates between games.
Expanded Games Catalog
Tipico has also signed some new gaming content deals for the update. It says the Android app and desktop site now feature over 700 games, while iOS users get almost 450 to choose from. That’s more than before but still modest compared to longer-running sites like Golden Nugget, which now has more than 1,500 on offer.
The new partners are Konami and White Hat Studios. The latter has been rapidly expanding its US footprint over the past year with a portfolio of games acquired from Blueprint Gaming.
White Hat focuses on brand tie-in products, with its top performers including Ted and Peaky Blinders.
But if the new options seem overwhelming, don’t worry. The new app lets you play four games at once, so you don’t have to pick just one.
