Caesars & Evolution Launch NHL-Branded Live Dealer Blackjack

Just ahead of the first round of National Hockey League (NHL) playoffs, Caesars Entertainment and Evolution launched a new NHL-branded live dealer blackjack game. Caesars NHL Blackjack—now available at Caesars platforms in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Michigan—features the NHL shield front-and-center on the table’s “eye-catching” ice blue rink-inspired design.

In an April 19 announcement, Matt Sunderland, Caesars Digital’s SVP & chief iGaming officer, said more NHL-themed online casino content would follow.

From the statement Caesars (Caesars Entertainment 33,63 +3,38%) emailed to Bonus:

Customizing our online casino offering to provide experiences true to the Caesars brand remains a key area of focus for us. The launch of Caesars NHL Blackjack is an exciting moment that enhances our ability to provide our players with an eye-catching game custom to their interests.

Adding the NHL Shield to our Live Dealer content is only the beginning as we continue to expand our partnership with the League to launch more NHL-branded iCasino games for our online casino platforms.

Evolution offers its live dealer online casino partners various degrees of service. Its unbranded studios serve multiple brands, with players at different online casinos often seeing the same table and dealer. However, some—such as DraftKings and BetMGM—pay for exclusive studios with their branding. Caesars NHL Blackjack represents a move into still-greater levels of customization.

Caesars, NHL Extend Partnership

The hockey-themed addition to Caesars’ online platforms follows the renewal of Caesars’ US-facing partnership with the NHL in March.

With the partnership extension, the NHL extended league-owned intellectual property rights to Caesars for the first time. The access permits Caesars to “build and promote” NGL-branded online casino games for its North American platforms. Caesars NHL Blackjack is the first branded title released on Caesars Palace Online Casino and Caesars Sportsbook & Casino.

At the time, Caesars Digital’s president, Eric Hession, said the extended partnership would bring “unforgettable experiences” to its customers.

With the defending Stanley Cup Champions residing in our home city of Las Vegas, we have a front-row seat to the excitement and passion that the NHL provides.

This partnership extension with the League continues our efforts to build on that fan passion by bringing unforgettable experiences to all of our valued customers across both sports betting and online casino.

Jason Jazayeri, NHL vice president of business development, noted the importance of engaging fans.

Since the inception of our partnership with Caesars, together we have focused on innovative ways to engage our passionate fanbase. We look forward to the next chapter of our relationship focused on delivering unparalleled access to our sport for NHL fans.

Caesars, Evolution Partner on NHL-Themed Blackjack

Officially live ahead of the 2024 Stanley Cup Playoffs, Caesars worked with Evolution (Evolution AB (publ) 4,77 -3,25%) to develop the NHL-live dealer game.

In Friday’s announcement, Jacob Claesson, Evolution’s North American CEO, noted the company’s commitment to delivering the best player experiences.

We’re proud to strengthen our collaboration with Caesars Digital by introducing NHL-branded tables to their Live Dealer offering. As their Live Dealer provider, Evolution is committed to delivering the best gaming experiences possible for their players. This partnership not only highlights our commitment to innovation but also ensures that Caesars players have access to the most engaging and immersive games available.

We’re excited to see the enjoyment this new offering brings to fans and look forward to continuing to elevate the online gaming experience together with Caesars.

In addition to the new title, Caesars’ live streams Evolution’s American and European Roulette and classic and Infinite Blackjack offerings. Further, Baccarat, Craps, Ultimate Texas Hold ’em, Three Card Poker, and various Evolution-made game show-style titles round out Caesars’ live dealer menu.
