Connecticut Players Will Soon Be Able to Play Interactive Slots By White Hat Studios

White Hat Studios has expanded its reach into a fourth US state, Connecticut. The slots developer earned its license from the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection this week and can soon roll out its games with one or both of the Nutmeg State’s online casinos.

White Hat is known for feature-rich slots, progressive jackpots, and branded content. It also provides digital adaptations of popular casino table games.

White Hat Studios’ Portfolio Includes Many Themed Slots, Progressive Jackpots, And Table Games

Masai Mara Megaways is the latest slots release from White Hat GamingAfter the announcement of the license, Andy Whitworth, CEO of White Hat Studios, said:

We are the home to iGaming’s leading branded games, which are proven to attract new customers to an operator’s platform. We are confident that the launch in Connecticut will prove just as successful as our other state launches and are keen to see the reception they receive.

White Hat’s portfolio includes over 60 titles, many branded after popular movies and TV shows. Other titles form part of its Jackpot Royale franchise with linked progressive jackpots.

Connecticut players probably won’t have access to all 60 games. The exact lineup will depend on the choices of White Hat’s two possible partners in the state, DraftKings Casino and Mohegan Sun. Some of the most popular real money slots offered by White Hat in other states include:

  • The Goonies
  • Ted
  • Deal or No Deal
  • Beavis and Butthead
  • Almighty Buffalo

Its latest release is Masai Mara Megaways, using the popular Megaways mechanic under license from Big Time Gaming.

Slots are not the only games the company creates. White Hat Studios also offers American roulette and multiple variants of blackjack. Its blackjack games are currently only available at Michigan online casinos, but the company intends to bring them to other states soon.

The Company Will Be Licensed In Four US States

White Hat landed in the US less than a year ago. In July 2022, the developer launched Thriller Gorilla and Rolling in Gold at BetMGM Michigan. White Hat further expanded in the Great Lakes State before entering New Jersey at the beginning of 2023. Then, at the end of March 2023, the company entered Pennsylvania through a deal with Caesars Casino.

With Connecticut, the developer will be licensed in four of the six states with legal online casinos. It’s only absent from the two smallest markets: West Virginia and Delaware. West Virginia may also see White Hat Studios’ games shortly, while Delaware is less likely to because of its monopoly gaming model.

White Hat Aims At Younger Players With Its Interactive Slots

White Hat Studios’ rapid rise in the US can be attributed to its creative, pop-culture-themed slots and their engaging features. The company strategically targets younger audiences by innovating slots with many bonuses and captivating animation. Recognizing that, an increasing number of casinos are partnering with White Hat in their goal to draw the attention of Gen Z and Millenial players.

An example is the Goonies slot, which features six bonuses. One of them, the Skeleton Bonus, allows players to pick options like instant cash or further progression to other bonuses. Meanwhile, the Inferno Free Spins adds walking wild reels. Players who trigger the One-Eyed Willy’s Treasure bonus work on balancing cash prizes before they tip over. Aside from bonuses, the slot has six modifiers that are randomly activated.

Another popular title is Ted. It’s based on the popular movie and offers many modifiers and bonus rounds. On top of that, fans of the film will appreciate the sarcastic voiceover from the fou-mouthed teddy bear.

White Hat Studios likes to develop TV shows and movie slots. Players should soon expect Peaky Blinders, Rick and Morty, Top Cat, Inspector Gadget, and other titles. Additionally, the company is preparing to release Deal or No Deal Roulette for table game players and fans of the show.
