Jackpot.com has partnered with 7-Eleven, the world’s largest convenience store chain, to become its official lottery courier. The collaboration will initially roll out in Ohio and Massachusetts, providing customers access to lottery games and scratch-offs through the Jackpot.com app or website at over 600 7-Eleven and Speedway locations across the two states.
The partnership is expected to expand to additional states in the future. It represents a significant opportunity for the lottery courier as 7-Eleven operates or licenses more than 13,000 stores in the U.S. and Canada, although Jackpot.com is not currently available in the latter. Its loyalty program has over 80 million members, which could present additional cross-marketing opportunities.
The choice of Ohio and Massachusetts as the launch states is strategic. Jackpot.com noted that Ohio ranks as the seventh-largest lottery market in the U.S., while Massachusetts leads the nation in lottery spending per capita. Jackpot.com’s partnership with 7-Eleven is not the first of its kind in Massachusetts. Competing lottery courier Jackpocket has a similar partnership with the Circle K convenience store chain.
Lottery couriers like Jackpot.com bring convenience to the lottery purchase experience. They allow users to place ticket orders on their app or website. Once the order is placed, the lottery courier purchases the ticket on the customer’s behalf and sends a confirmation. Jackpot.com pays small wins under $600 directly through the app, while for larger ones, it arranges the physical delivery of the ticket so the customer can claim it in person.

The collaboration with 7-Eleven is another event in a dynamic year for Jackpot.com, marked by significant market entries and strategic partnerships. Last week, the lottery courier launched in Colorado, its seventh state. In 2024, Jackpot.com has also entered Massachusetts, Arkansas, and New Jersey. The courier debuted in Texas in 2023 before expanding to New York and Ohio.
In addition to market growth, Jackpot.com has introduced new technology this year. In October, Ohio and Massachusetts were among the first states where Jackpot.com’s signature scratchers platform became available. The company describes the scratching technology as the industry’s fastest online lottery scratch card experience.
The 7-Eleven partnership became Jackpot.com’s second key collaboration this year. In June, it became the official lottery courier of the Associated Press. A month earlier, the lottery courier became an associate member of the North American Association of State and Provincial Lotteries.
