BetParx Casino players will soon be able to play games by White Hat Studios in Michigan, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. The two companies announced a partnership for BetParx to offer slots like Ted, The Goonies, and Almighty Buffalo Megaways, recently recognized at the Eilers & Krejcik Slot Awards.
As well as slots, BetParx will offer White Hat’s versions of blackjack and roulette. As of Aug. 1, the games were not yet live on any BetParx site, and the companies haven’t specified a go-live date. However, White Hat Studio already has approval from state regulators through other deals, so it shouldn’t take long.
Gil Bushkin, Senior Director of Marketing at BetParx, expressed his excitement to bring more titles to casino players.
We’re thrilled to announce our latest partnership with White Hat Studios. As one of the best iCasino apps to play on, we remain committed to providing our users with a diverse and rewarding iGaming experience. Integrating high-quality, fun, and entertaining content is at the heart of our mission.
White Hat Studios CEO Andy Whitworth expressed a similar sentiment:
Users can expect innovative, high quality and familiar IP-driven titles, which have already proven so popular with a wide audience, along with a robust roadmap that will see frequent new titles released every month.
The partnership strengthens the presence of White Hat Studios in the US market. In a year, the company has gained a license in four states, and the list of casinos featuring White Hat slots is expanding.
In July 2022, White Hat Studios made its US debut in Michigan through a deal with BetMGM Casino. The companies used their partnership to launch in New Jersey and Pennsylvania at the beginning of 2023. White Hat further expanded in PA through a partnership with Caesars. Most recently, the company received a license to operate in Connecticut in May, marking the fourth US state.
White Hat’s Many Movie Licensing Deals
White Hat focuses on branded titles, aiming to appeal to younger players. Most of these are tie-ins with movies and streaming series from the past few decades.
Some branded games include:
- The Goonies
- Ted
- Sausage Party
- Beavis and Butthead
- Rick and Morty
But while White Hat wants to attract players with pop-culture titles, it aims to keep them engaged with many features and bonuses. Its mechanics are individually simple, but there are often many possibilities. For example, the Goonies slot features six different types of bonuses, while Ted has numerous randomly-triggered features and a multi-tier bonus round.
Additionally, many slots by White Hat are part of the company’s Jackpot Royale progressive jackpot network. According to the company, the pot has an average win of $175,000 and reseed of $70,000.
The Peaky Blinders Slot Showcases White Hat’s Style
One of the newest slots by the company, Peaky Blinders, based on the famous TV show, is a great example of how White Hat tries to capture players’ interest. While it’s currently only available in Michigan, players in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut should see it soon.
The Peaky Blinders slot features characters from the show and their voices, making it a fun game. The cult phrase “by the order of the Peaky Blinders” (now also a book title) greets those who get to the bonus round. And when it comes to bonus rounds, there are three different free spins bonuses and the Thunder Spins bonus.
Each free spins bonus has different features. The Arthur Free Spins removes lower-paying symbols. During Polly Free Spins, three or more reels are guaranteed to show the same symbols, while during Tommy Free Spins, three adjacent reels turn into a single big reel with 3×3 blocks. For those who don’t want to wait, there is also an option to buy a Polly or Tommy bonus round, where regulations permit.
Additionally, six cash symbols trigger the Thunder Spins, where players win the cash prizes plus get a chance to land one of four jackpots.
